Taylor Stevenson for DFL Vice Chair
Taylor Stevenson and Donna Cassutt recently ran for Minnesota's DFL party Vice Chair and Chair positions. After impressing them both during Taylor's campaign branding I was brought on as the Lead Designer of campaign graphics for print, digital, and web; and as the Director of Communications handling social media, email, and website communications.
Atomic Action is the mobile app I designed and helped develop in a partnership with Generation Atomic, Jarbik, and uCampaign.
The main goal of the app was to create a tool for learning, teaching, and sharing about energy policy, and encouraging these actions by gamifying them with points earned for each action, leaderboards, and branded swag for the top point-getters.

Valley Pastries Branding
Valley Pastries has been in my life for many years, but with new management comes the opportunity to establish a new brand identity. The logo and overall branding were meant to have a vintage early 20th century vibe, and the principal colors referencing the dutch heritage of the original owners.
Student to Business Initiative
Student to Business Initiative is a program run by The UMD Center for Economic Development that pairs local Twin Ports businesses with a 4 person team of Marketing and Design students from UMD with the end goal of working together for new marketing and design plans for the business while giving the students great exposure and training in real world projects.
The business my team was assigned to was the Student to Business Initiative itself, which needed a plan to increase its visibility and reach within the community.
Together we created a 41 page book that laid out strategies and tactics to help the SBI program achieve its goals. We also addressed some of the issues we saw with the current promotion and advertising for the SBI program.
My main focus was the creation of the branding system, Networking banners and signage, and the design of the presentation book itself.
Delta Capital Advisors Branding
Delta Capital Advisors came to me in want of a branding system that focused on the delta as a symbol and the color blue for its visual stability, as well as a reference to intellect, change, and power.
Cue the Accountant Branding
Cue the Accountant is a firm based in Minneapolis that focoses on helping restaurants through a system of practices that are time and money saving. They are not your average conventional, stuffy, bean counting tax accountants and they needed a brand system that would reflect their energy; being both sophisticated and professional as well as playful and lively.
Generation Atomic’s mission is to energize and empower present generations to advocate for a nuclear future. They needed branding that would inspire the masses and echo the revolutionary imagery of successful mass movements of the 20th century, but with contemporary design asthetics.
Generation Atomic went through 3 design stages to better suit it's needs. The first logo showed a contoured fist, a lot of negative space, and a strong blue-to-white gradient reminiscent of cherenkov radiation.
The 2nd stage was much flatter, and was limited to 5 colors, 4 if you printed on white, which was great for screen printing and logo recognition at any size. The Atomic Action logo was also rolled out at this stage and was the default icon for Generation Atomic as well.
The 3rd stage pulled from lessons learned from both previous stages of the logo, limiting the colors for easy printing, but with a sense of depth and contouring from the 1st logo and orbiting neutrons from the Atomic Action logo.
